These custom Micarta handle scales -- available exclusively from KnivesShipFree -- have been machined specifically for the Benchmade Mini-Griptilian and are a direct replacement for the original Noryl GTX handles. They'll completely change the way your knife looks and feels.
All of the hardware you'll need is included. These replacement handle scales fit all Benchmade Mini-Griptilian models (555, 556, 557, 55X).

Installation
It's easy to install these upgraded handle scales on your Benchmade Mini-Griptilian. The only tools you'll need are two Torx bits (T6 and T10, both of which are available in the Benchmade Blue Box Toolkit).

KSF Green Linen Micarta Mini Grip Perfection
I do not have the mini Grip I had these scales on anymore but I still have the scales lol. KSF does it once again with their proprietary(?)ergonomics making Grips 10x easier to actually use and use hard if needed. The Green linen micarta used is beautiful. The machining is perfect. The KSF Grip upgrade scales are some of the EASIEST to put together upgrade kits ever. The hardware that come with the KSF kits is also very well designed and thought out. Just do not throw out your old pivot and washers you will still need those. Unfortunately keeping linen micarta clean can be very difficult. I stained mine with something that I just could never wash off. My own fault.

So much better than the factory handle!
Perfect fit for my 555HG Mini Griptilian and easy to install if you follow the online video instructions. The scales I received were darker than the photo and the green is less intense, but they're still beautiful (especially after my modification). After installation, I decided that the texture was too rough on my fingers around the axis lock (reminds me of Spyderco's textured G-10 on the PM2), so off came the scales and out came the ultra fine sandpaper. I started with 1,000 grit then progressed through 1,500 and 2,000 before switching to 8,000 grit polishing cloth. After just a few minutes, the result is a satin finish that is perfect and the scales look amazing while still providing excellent grip. Sanding revealed more color and accentuated the layers in the linen Micarta. The Mini Grip should come from the factory with this handle!
