At KnivesShipFree, we want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. We understand that buying a knife on the internet is not the ideal way to know how a knife feels in your hand. So we have a return policy that takes the risk out.
Any knife purchase may be returned in new and unused condition for any reason within 30 days with the following options:
100% Refund in the form of a store credit*
Refund to your Credit Card with a 20% restocking fee.
All returns must be accompanied by an RMA. You may obtain an RMA by contacting us through the Contact Us form on our site.
Return shipping is always your responsibility.
I understand the idea of paying a restocking fee is not a very nice idea. That is why we have the 100% store credit option. The store credit option allows you to return an item and find a replacement without costing either of us an arm and a leg. The restocking fee covers the very real costs of processing an order, shipping that order, receiving the return, inspecting the return and processing a refund.
I would love to run a site with no such restocking fees, but it just isn't feasable for a small company like ours. I hope you understand, and know that we will go to great lengths to take great care of you.
*Excessive returns may result in a restocking fee even with store credit.
At KnivesShipFree, we believe the name says it all, but there needs to be a little clarification... Everything Ships Free within the US. We pick the shipper. Typically we ship with the USPS. If you want to choose your shipping method, there is a way to do that (for extra cost) in your order.
Shipments to Canada are just $12.95 per order. All shipments to Canada are shipped via USPS First Class Mail.
Other international orders are $69.95 for the first pound and then $7.00 for each pound after that up to a maximum of 20 pounds. We typically ship either by UPS International or USPS Express--both methods provide trackable shipping.
Beyond 20lbs, an actual shipping calculator is provided.
Due to the number of "lost" packages and fraudulent transactions, we do not ship to all countries.
We don't change the value on packages for customs. Please don't ask.
Please note that our shipping rates cannot account for international import duties or taxes. These are based on each country's individual laws and, if applicable, are charged by the carrier upon delivery.
