Yaxell: Dragon - 8" Chef's Knife

KSF doesn't have a feature to update my review so I'll post this additional one just to say how much I like this knife. I was a little intimidated at first thinking it might be hard to sharpen but it sharpens and holds an edge like a champ. After almost a year of use I'm very happy with this knife and recommend it highly. It cuts and slices like a dream. I like it so much I just ordered the Dragon 3.5" Paring Knife to go along with it. Maybe I'll save it so someone can give it to me for Christmas. Nothing beats getting exactly what you want!

I succumbed to the temptation created by Derrick's video review and ordered this Black Dragon 8" Chef's Knife. I'm glad that I did. This knife felt perfectly at home in my hand right from the first moment I picked it up. It is both solid and substantial and at the same time marvelously nimble to hold and use. The balance designed into this knife makes kitchen cutting work a pleasure. I'm looking for dishes to prepare with maximum chopping prep necessary just to use this excellent knife. I love the dense feel of the steel and the blade slices like a dream. The fit and finish of the entire knife is superb. All in all, highly recommended and an excellent value!
