The Endela was designed to fit perfectly between two of long-time favorites in the Spyderco lineup - the Endura 4 Lightweight and Delica 4 Lightweight. With all the quality and refinements of its neighboring models, the Endela Lightweight is built on the same construction method that makes these knives so effective. The scales are fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) which is both light and durable, and the Bi-Directional Texturing ensures that you will have plenty of grip. The blade has a full-flat grind and is upgraded on this model to K390 microclean tool steel for its advanced toughness and edge holding. One-handed opening is made easy thanks to the large thumb hole. Securing the open blade is a sturdy mid-back lock, and the knife is supported by skeletonized stainless steel liners that are nested within the handle. The handle features a four-position pocket clip for your choice of tip-up or tip-down, left or right side carry.

Highly recommend
Purchased the Endela a few weeks ago and it's a terrific knife. If you've carried any of Spyderco's LWs you know they offer strength and very low weight. This is my first blade in K390 and it's maybe my favorite steel so far. Sharpened it on receipt, it got keen as hell, and since then the edge has performed very well. None of my other folders has made its way to my pocket for weeks. It's a fairly large knife but perfect for me.
