I purchased his slip to protect a new Fallkniven GP pocket knife in cocobolo. The slip is mad of thick, premium leather and provides excellent fit and protection for this 4 in. Knife. The leather is quite stiff at first, but softens nicely with a little working of the leather in the hand. The knife is held securely by the rougher interior, but slides into and out easily with a little pinch at the sides. The two grommets at the opening add strength to the slip and protect the stitching. Unfortunately.they are a shiny brass colour (yes, I am a Canadian) which does not match the colour of the slip and that detracts from the appearance of the slip in.my view. All in all, this is a great choice for a larger pocket knife like the GP. I am very happy with it and recommend it as a substantial, rugged and practical pocket slip. Although I. Would prefer no logo, the one on this slip is subtle and does not shout out at you.
