The Northwoods Forged Kitchen Cutlery uses German forged 4116 stainless blades, imported, handled and finished in the United States.
The steel and performance are the same as in the Wusthof line, but we added premium handle materials to ours.
The blades are hot drop forged in a 50-ton press, then tempered and trimmed to shape. Then the full-tang blades are annealed with a final hardness of 58 Rockwell. The blades are hand ground and polished. The G-10 handles are both epoxied and double pinned so they are on there to stay.
The knives are hand finished, boxed and ready for you.
