GEC #38 Special Green Jigged Bone
Agree with the other Review- I've always liked, and found useful, these old school Folders. In comparing this new knife, to my Grand Pa's old "Adolph Blaich" folder from San Francisco- made by S. Holler in Germany - this GEC is every bit the equal, and better. The old one, (as great as it is) has a too strong spring action; not really necessary. This GEC folder hits all the right notes, plus looks great as well. It will take a razor edge. Thanks KSF -- for the great products and superb customer service.

A step up. Just right.
Got my knife today and it's great. I have several locking folders, and a few case knives. This knife ranks very near the top of my collection in fit and finish. Definitely better than my case's which I love. The bolsters fit to the bone better. The swedge on the blade is a really nice touch. This model doesn't have the billboarding on the blade that some of the GEC knives have. Even the spring seems nicely tuned. It's got a firm snap open, but a lighter pull will get it started from closed. It's exactly what I wanted, and the free pocket slip, and sticker are nice pluses from KSF. Great job GEC and thank you KSF!
