The Bark River Special Hunting Knife is a re-creation of on of the most famous hunting knives of the San Francisco period of American knifemaking.  

The firm of Will & Fink was the premier cutler from 1861-1934.  The made and sold razors, Bowie knives, hunting knives and utility knives of the highest quality. They set the standard for knifemaking of the day.

The Special Hunting Knife was specifially designed for the wealthy hunters of Northern California. It was copied in 1904 by Webster Marble for his new line of American hunting knives.

This 19th century classic is as relevant today as the day it was made. It is a great, rugged outdoor knife for all kinds of hunting and camping tasks.
