The cousin of the 0562, this ZT features the same special Rick Hinderer flat-ground “slicer” grind that provides both slicing efficiency and a tough point, but on a CPM-20CV powdered steel blade. CPM-20CV offers a premium combination of features that make it an ideal blade steel: the ability to take a very sharp edge, high wear resistance for superior edge retention, and great corrosion resistance.
The 0562CF’s handle has a carbon fiber front scale and stonewashed titanium back. For secure lock up during use, ZT uses a frame lock with hardened steel lockbar inserts and lockbar stabilization.
The knife opens with a flipper and moves out of the handle on our smooth KVT ball-bearing opening system. A washer with caged ball bearings surrounds the pivot and makes opening the knife nearly frictionless; just pull back on the flipper and add a roll of the wrist and the 0562CF is ready for action.
The unique pocketclip is reversible (left/right) and enables extra-deep carry in the pocket.

ZT 0562cf
No doubt, one of the Finest edc ,hard use knives I’ve ever owned and I own a few for sure. Don’t be on the fence with this one, great ergonomics and pocketability! Quick, well radiused edges and very nicely done Carbon Fiber. KSF provides an excellent product from an excellent company again. Thanks!!

Awesome Knife!!!
The detent and lockbar can be a bit stiff when you first get it. It breaks in pretty quick especially if you fidget flip throughout the day. I wish the flipper tab wasn't so upward sweeping but it makes a good finger guard when the blade is deployed. The upward sweeping shape gets uncomfortable when flipping a bunch. The carbon fiber has a nice texture to it. I never had a problem with the free spinning pivot despite fidget flipping a bunch.

Quality!
The carbon fiber is beautiful, and everything about this knife is tops! Good retention on the blade makes it fly out when pressing the flipper. It almost feels like an assisted blade but it is not. The blade is perfectly ground, and will shave hair right out of the box. The handle locks tightly in my large hands and even though the sides are smooth (great for the pocket) it is very stable and comfortable due to the size and shape. The edges are nicely rounded and don't make any hot spots. I love the blade shape. It is very functional and robustly designed. The tip is thick and sturdy even though is is a slicer design. Very well thought out knife. Overall. A+ Something anyone can be proud of and still enjoy hard use day to day.
