Shun Sora

The Shun Sora line of kitchen knives is Shun's value line.  By value, we mean high performance at a low price.  In fact, I don't think you can find a better performing kitchen knife anywhere near this price point.

The blades are made of two different steels--420J for the spine and VG-10 for the cutting edge.  The two metals are cut out like puzzle pieces and then welded together in a special process that ends up looking like a Hamon line in swords.

The end result is a knife you will love using in your kitchen.
