#99 S&M review
I am happy to report that this knive is what I wanted. The 420 steel is not a "super" steel but is adequate for my needs. The knife rides in my pocket along with keys. I have sharpened this knife and it takes an edge very well. I love the ebony scales and every week or so I treat them with Renaissance Wax and buff the bolsters with leather and green buffing compound. Of course this is not my only EDC knife, but a backup. Pulling out a #99 from the pocket for coworkers is more accepting than the one hand presentation of my Benchmade 940.
