Lon Humphrey Knives: Custom Whitetail - Dark Burl - 9507

I bought a Custom Whitetail in light burl 9525, which I believe is not available any more. Other burl wood are available and the handle is very nice. My first Humphrey is a Custom Brute and it is a wonderful knife! The Custom Brute is 9" total and the blade is 4 1/2" This knife is 5 1/2" total length and the blade is 2 3/4" long. I have several folders that are bigger than that. This is a Humphrey is every detail, which are the best knives I own, have ever seen and admire. I just did not expect this knife to be this small. I really don't like the sheath. It does not have a belt loop, it is designed for loading in a pocket. The leather is thick, high quality and will definitely protect the knife, I just prefer wearing on a belt than stuck in a pocket. When I started writing this review, I rated this down one star because of the size and I didn't see any measurements on the website for this model knife. I went back and changed to a 5 because it is such a high quality knife. It is a great knife, I am sure I will grow to enjoy it as one of my favorites! If you are considering buying a Humphrey and sitting on the fence, watch a few of his YouTube videos on how he builds knives. Links exist on this website. Watch a couple and you will be convinced!
