Helle Gro - 3.6" Scandi Knife - Dark Birch
The Helle Gro ("to grow" in Norwegian) is a basic, no frills camp knife with a 3 ½" (93 mm) blade of Sandvik 12C27 steel and a darkened birch handle that fits medium sized hands. The shape is intended to offer a secure grip, without limiting the user but allowing him or her to develop carving techniques and grow as a knife user. Well suited to carving, food prep, utility uses or other camp chore uses, the embossed natural leather sheath depicts the annual rings of a three-trunk; reminding the owner that learning is a continuous process.
