Great Eastern Cutlery: #98 - Tidioute - Texas Cattle Knife - Amber Jigged Bone - Three-Blade

I made the mistake of buying this knife thinking that it was ~4" closed, and boy was i wrong. This guy feels really big in my hand, and for that reason, I probably won't end up carrying it. It also sits in the pocket heavy, but i wear a suit every day. If i was wearing it in jean, i think it might be alright... I love knives. I certainly don't collect knives that don't get regular use... but I'm going to keep this one. Not really sure why, I'll never use it, but it's got a good feel to it, and it's a VERY capable. My tastes may change and 10 years from now, it'll still be a cool knife. The punch blade is a great feature of this tool. I don't have any other knives with this nice of a punch. If i slim down enough to need a new hole on my belt (I'm almost there), i know exactly where I'll go to punch that new whole. The main blade and the warney are serious business and have the fit and finish that you'd come to expect from GEC. Everything lines up just right. Did i mention it was a little too big for my tastes.
