The Endura has been a leading seller in Spyderco's catalog for decades, and the Endura 4 is the result of their continued drive to improve and fine-tune each model. It's built on a simple, effective design - a sturdy, reliable lockback mechanism and strong yet lightweight handles. Opening with an ambidextrous thumbhole, the full-flat grind blade is a full 3.75" long with a near 3.5" cutting edge. Yet thanks to the slim frame and mere 3.4 ounce weight, it's exceptionally easy to carry.
This special variation features a combination of Blue FRN and Bohler K390 Microclean tool steel. This is a particle metallurgy tool steel characterized by high ratios of vanadium, tungsten, and cobalt which impart the steel with excellent edge retention and toughness.
