Lone Wolf Knives: Crazy Horse - Turquoise & Sterling Silver Inlays
Lone Wolf Knives together with Native American silversmith and artist David Yellowhorse created this exciting fixed blade named "Crazy Horse". The knife commemorates the famous Lakota Chief who helped defeat General George Armstrong Custer at the battle of the Little Bighorn. The blade is precision ground, heat treated, tempered and fitted with a stainless steel guard by Lone Wolf Knives. The blade was then sent to David Yellowhorse who applied his artistry by adding various materials to create this beautiful knife. David stippled the blade then added traditional turquoise, white turquoise, bloody jasper with sterling silver channel inlays to the handle. The center piece of the handle features an inlaid side view of the head of Crazy Horse with a war headdress done in sterling silver on both sides of the handle. David Yellowhorse's shop is located on the Navaho Indian Reservation where he is teaching his artistry to two of his sons. The Crazy Horse edition was limited to 150 pieces. Additionally, each knife is shipped with a solid Cocobolo wood display stand to proudly display this fine work of art. A certificate of authenticity is included to verify the quantity produced and the unique features of this beautiful knife.
