What happened to the Free Knives for Kids?
When we began, our outreach to parents, our vision was to give the knives away to people for free. FREE.
But you probably know what happened. A bunch of people decided they wanted to order 30, 50, 100 knives and went all over the internet bragging they were scamming us and were just going to resell the knives.
In 3 days we gave away 4000 knives. Most of those went to good parents of deserving kids, but at $20 each, it was just more than we could handle. So now we charge $10 for the knife, and we can sustain the program.
