The Bel Air XL makes multiple changes that result in a big difference in the feel of this knife. Not only is overall size scaled up, the steel thickness is increased from .09" to .125" for a more robust blade. Textured G-10 scales provide plenty of grip when operating the MagnaCut blade. It deploys smoothly on Kershaw's KVT ball-bearing pivot and is secured by their ambidextrous DuraLock.
