Benchmade Knives: 530SBK Pardue - Axis Lock - Spear Point - Serrated
The ultimate lightweight carry is a great way to sum up the 530. It's our lightest knife and one of our slimmest. As great choice for times when a good knife is needed and there's not much room. Made in USA.

Perfect EDC!
The 530 is a perfect knife for everyday carry. It's super lightweight and thin, has smooth and fast blade action (can easily open/close with one hand with a pull of the Axis lock), securely locks in the open position, and was sharp right out of the box. That being said, the positives (lightweight and thin) can also be negatives; if you're looking for a knife to pry up nails with or slay zombies, look elsewhere. The light/thin design means that the blade stock isn't as thick as other knives, and the handle is very thin black plastic (or whatever fancy name Benchmade calls "plastic" these days). It's still a very sturdy knife, is balanced and feels great in the hand, and is worth the $$ in my opinion. There aren't any other knives that I could find with similar qualities (tactical styling, faux dagger blade, high quality lock mechanism with smooth action, thin and light, Benchmade customer service). The only gripe I have, is that I wish it shipped with a deep carry clip. It's definitely a great knife and will see a huge amount of pocket time.
