Perfect size, blades and steel.
My last purchase was a Northwoods Sheepsfoot Barlow in CPM 154. Great knife. In different ways, this is its equal, for about half the cost. It's about equal in pocket impact...just right yet being big enough to have a real presence as a competent cutting tool. The choice of large Clip, small Sheepsfoot and Spey make this very versatile. For me they are the ideal trio. Then there's the D2 tool steel. SUCH a classic steel. D2 is known for a super fine edge that it keeps for a long, long time...plus ease of sharpening and being a slow to tarnish high carbon steel. Now add to all those function points that Queen does an absolutely superb job with fit and finish. It scores 5 big fat hard core blade lovin' stars.
