L.T. Wright Knives: Large Northern Hunter - Natural Maple

This is a great upgrade from the classic Grohmann's Canadian belt knife. The blade is wider, with more curve to the belly. Both handle and blade are a tiny bit longer, making it good for larger hands. The striped maple handle is a pretty piece of wood. The handle is somewhat fat, again good for larger hands, and shifts the balance back towards the butt, making for a nimble blade. Corners on the handle are rounded, but the sides are largely parallel. Grinds are good and sharpness is good - it push cuts paper easily, but light stropping was needed to give it a good bite. JRE sheath with dangler is well made, but not specifically fitted to the knife - it holds the blade securely and should conform with some use.
