I hadn't handled a Sebenza in either size for about 4 years. I had brought into overbuilt, fast deployment, cut through a car door mentality, and my daily carries reflected that. All the while though I knew a slip joint could handle 99 percent of what I needed. I also became increasingly aware that I was choking up on larger knives for finer work, and it always felt like I was playing an entire round of golf with just a driver, and you know the old saying, "Drive for show, and putt for dough"? Well it felt like my carry habits were more for show than for functionality. I started harkening back to the precise simplicity of the Sebenza. It can withstand anything a knife should have thrown at it, and actually more than you should throw at it. It is a dream to maintain. The lines on it are classically sexy like Bond's Aston Martin. I'm kicking myself from staying away from this little dream, so long. The small Sebenza deserves way more praise than I think it gets. When it comes to real world use it really is all you need. Yeah you might want the flash of the large, but day in and day out in my regular EDC world give me a small micarta every time.... Thanks CRK and KSF
