Canal Street Reclaimed American Chestnut is from the Hoover Barn located just outside of Hopkinsville, KY.  This barn was constructed around 1920.  The majority of the framing was American Chestnut. American Chestnut was devastated throughtout the natural range due to a fungus that it was highly susceptible to.
