The newest collaboration between RAT and Ontario is a 3.5 inch fully concealable sheath knife called the RAT-3. It was designed for law enforcement, military and outdoorsmen who require compact cutting power.
The RAT-3 features a molded Blade-Tech sheath. The sheath easily integrates with a Blade-Tech drop holster or can be adapted in the field to fit other rigs commonly used within the military and law enforcement communities. The sheath comes standard with two types of retention devices: a TekLok and a Boot Clip and can be carried in left or right-hand mode. The sheath can also be stripped of retention devices and carried as a neck knife.
The RAT-3 also follows the other RAT designs using Micarta slabbed ergonomic handles and full flat grind for excellent slicing and cutting efficiency.
