Randall's Adventure and Training (RAT) is a professional survival training, expedition guiding, and outdoor gear research team based in Alabama, with operations in Latin America. RAT is a legal U.S. representative of the Peruvian Air Force school of jungle survival. The RAT team is considered a leading authority in the research, testing, and design of remote adventure and survival gear. The illustrated RAT-7 Knife features a 6.5" drop point blade made of D2 steel, .1875" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 58-59. The blade has a full flat grind, non-reflective black powder coat, and notched thumb rest. The RAT-7 knife has full tang construction with Micarta handle slabs, and extended pommel with lanyard hole.
