Original Aurora PrototypesThese were the knives that the Aurora was developed from. There are only 8 of them. All were made with Black & Green Linen Micarta. (pictured top of three)
The overall Length of these is 8.75 Inches--Blades are-4.250 inches Weight is 5.6 Ounces. The Steel is A-2 and the Thickness is .215 inch.
This is the knife actually tested by BRKT for the production of the Aurora line. It has been brought back to new by BRKT and comes with a new sheath. The handle is the same material as the two other knives in the picture. It darkened during the testing phase from use.
The picture below is the three of the 8 that were sold by Bark River. The top one is the one that was actually tested by BRKT owner/designer, Mike Stewart. It is (or maybe was) for sale on this site as well.
