The company was founded by master knife makers Bill Howard and Ken Daniels. The blades are 1095 Carbon steel--they take and hold a great edge. 

The knife is 3 3/4 inches closed.  The blades are all tang stamped.  The liners are brass.  The shield is pinned.  This is quality!
