When Mike Stewart of Bark River Knife and Tool wanted to do a Tanto, he said, "I don't want to do the Americanized, chisel point version.  I want to do a real, Japanese style Tanto."  He did exactly that.

The elegant lines of the Bark River Tanto are a traditional Japanese design with a few Bark River touches.  The knife's arced blade is shaped to follow the arc of your arm as you swing the knife.  The Bark River Tanto is a vicious, efficient slicer.
