This knife is from the 2007 Run of Mini-North Stars.

This versatile knife was specifically designed as an EDC that had crossover use in Light Hiking-Hunting Tasks and Bushcraft.

The Design is a scaled down version of the Bark River North Star. The Mini-North Star is a collaboration between Reid (of Sharpshooter Sheath Systems)-Jim Nowka (Knife forums Owner) and Mike Stewart. All three wanted to go as compact as possible but still have a more than usable small version of the North Star.

In 2005 the Mini-North Star was the Official Knife of Knifeforums.

The handle slabs are thinner than the North Star but are perfect for EDC. BRKT the pointed Spear Point blade of the North Star for it's overall wide usage. You will find this knife both Practical and Easy to carry.

The New Sheath for the Mini-North Star is also compact and rides tight to the Body.  The sheath is pictured below.

It is designed to be used as part of the BRKT Modular System and it can be piggybacked to a larger knife of have one of the smaller knives--Like a Mikro-Slither or Mikro-Canadian-- piggybacked to it.
